Patrick McCay's newest body of work in oil on canvas charts his response to the landscape of rural New Hampshire and domestic iconography. The work is clearly whimsical, his canvases peppered with almost an irreverent play of domestic items and theatricality. "The nostalgic imagery appears to facilitate the clarity I seek and the landscape, its people, geography, vegetation, animal life and places that appear to contain a bounty," says the artist.

Nat Thomas' new body of fiber art marks his response to New Orleans, especially in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Colors are Mardi Gras bright and imagery is cut in tent shapes or stretched in long levee-like patterns. "Quilts have always had their season in my life. I quilt because I can, and because I always have. For me, it is simply a necessary skill for living," says the artist.

Originally from Scotland, Patrick McCay holds a Master of Fine Arts from Glasgow School of Art, Scotland, and a second Master in Fine Arts from the University of Notre Dame. His exhibition history includes London's Royal Academy, The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, The Edinburgh Royal Academy, and the London Institute, among others. His work is collected by numerous corporate and private collectors.

Born Pineville, Louisiana, Margaretville artist Nat Thomas holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University, where he also did graduate work in sculpture and theater. His exhibition history includes the Roxbury Arts Group, Catskill Mountain Foundation, Kleinert Art Center, Woodstock, and "Men of Biblical Proportion" a traveling national group show of male quilters.
